This vibrantly colorful 12’ by 26’ Boy and Girl Scout mural covers three sides of the Scout shed at St. Thomas the Apostle Episcopal Church in Nassau Bay and incorporates the fun and adventure of being a Scout! On the first side, a boy and girl sit by a toasty fire in a cozy wood under a crescent moon, one child roasting a tasty marshmallow, the other honing her whittling skills. The next side of the shed shows a child heading out from the campsite and embarking on a canoeing adventure just as the sun bursts into a brilliant sunrise over the mountains. The final side shows four unique pinewood derby cars zooming towards a photo finish while Scout rockets soar overhead.
