Be Brave

I painted this inspirational quote from Brené Brown onto a brave jungle leaf I saw on a walk through El Tigre Cataratas, or The Tiger Waterfalls, in Costa Rica. The leaf is giant- bigger than my torso! The Costa Rican rain forest is SO lush that plants must be bold to survive! Some grow to incredible sizes, like this giant leaf. Others climb or grow a hundred feet or more! Some plants even drop their seeds on the side of trees and grow from there! Walking through the rain forest and even stepping under a few waterfalls, we had the amazing opportunity to experience nature like never before. The variety of plants and animals, and the way they all find their own way to thrive amidst this bustling ecosystem was so inspiring to me. This quote captures the inner excitement I felt looking around El Tigre Cataratas-

We are too often told to be quiet and keep our gifts, talents and passions to ourselves to avoid making others uncomfortable. DON’T!
